The lawyer Arvand Askari published an article in Bulletin.nu about the removal of spårbyte/trackchange, asylum seekers can no longer apply for work permit.

Asylum seekers could prior to the 1st April 2025, apply for workpermit (spårbyte/trackchange) without having to leave Sweden,

as a result of an amendment in the law this possibility is no longer optional, this amendment affects first time applicants as well as those who apply for an extension.
